Building the Future with the Power of Youth: The Story and Vision of Youthful Salamanca
From the very first day we stepped into the Erasmus+ world, we have succeeded in becoming not just an association, but a dynamic community aiming to unlock the potential of young people. Officially established in 2023 and granted NGO status in 2024, Youthful Salamanca operates with the vision of connecting young people with international educational opportunities and providing them with a real platform for change.
We Learn, We Share, and We Develop
Our association believes that young people achieve the greatest growth by breaking free from routine, getting to know different cultures, and accessing experiential learning opportunities. With this belief, we focus on Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, working to equip young people with strong skills and practical knowledge through internationally recognized non-formal education techniques. The idea underlying our motivation is simple yet powerful: “Experience gains value when shared.” This value is the reason for Youthful Salamanca’s existence.
A Network and Sphere of Influence Transcending Borders
Through the personal and professional connections we have built over time, we have created a rapidly growing network of collaborations across Europe. This network enables us to partner with more organizations, create new opportunities for young people, and make a stronger impact both locally and internationally. Together with our open-minded and experienced members, we continue to build capacity through Erasmus+ projects and share best practices with our community.
From Education to Sport: Multifaceted Support
In our regular activities, we combine education, participation, and well-being. By creating workshops, seminars, trainings, and discussion forums, we support young people in developing life skills, gaining self-confidence, and taking a more active role in community life. We also focus on increasing youth participation and inclusion by collaborating with local and international organizations. We believe in the power of sport for teamwork and social solidarity; we bring young people together in healthy and motivating experiences by organizing outdoor activities such as walks and cycling, as well as tournaments such as volleyball and football.
A Strong Team, A Dynamic Future
Behind Youthful Salamanca is a determined and complementary team comprised of Burak, with experience in sports-based youth work; Silvia, with a perspective on environmental science and community engagement; and Eymen, focused on digital literacy and artificial intelligence.
We continue to grow with the same energy as the day we were founded: to learn, develop, and share… We are ready to build bridges between young people, cultures, and ideas across Europe and walk together towards a brighter future!
